Welcome Everglades Lumber and Building Supply Inc. was founded in 1941 in Miami. Its operations were limited to lumber and heavy building materials. Hardware and various sundries were introduced in the sixties. Later, doors and mouldings were introduced and the production of pre-hung doors was expanded to a specialized location in South Miami-Dade. As a result of focusing on high quality products, relentless customer service, and full sales support, Everglades Lumber has separated itself from the competition. It prides itself as being an "old-fashioned" lumber yard with one-stop shopping where the contractor as well as the homeowner will find everything they are looking for. In 2003, Everglades Lumber transformed its core product offering to include high-end doors and millwork, decorative door hardware and luxury plumbing faucets & fixtures, with the addition of the Everglades Design Center. The showroom encompasses an area of 12,000 square feet featuring the latest designer brand names. In 2004, Everglades Design Center expanded North to Boca Raton with a second, 9,000 square foot showroom.
