Its operations were limited to lumber and heavy building materials. Hardware and various sundries were introduced in the sixties. Later, doors and mouldings were introduced and the production of pre-hung doors was expanded to a specialized location in South Miami-Dade.</p> <p class="body">As a result of focusing on high quality products, relentless customer service, and full sales support, Everglades Lumber has separated itself from the competition. It prides itself as being an "old-fashioned" lumber yard with one-stop shopping where the contractor as well as the homeowner will find everything they are looking for. </p> <p class="body">In 2003, Everglades Lumber transformed its core product offering to include high-end doors and millwork, decorative door hardware and luxury plumbing faucets & fixtures, with the addition of the Everglades Design Center. The showroom encompasses an area of 12,000 square feet featuring the latest designer brand names.</p> <p class="body">In 2004, Everglades Design Center expanded North to Boca Raton with a second, 9,000 square foot showroom.
